For Brushes I recommend to start from very small sizes up to medium size. (ex. 0 - 6)

3 Day Portrait Workshop at the Freihand Atelier Cologne

In this workshop we will be spending 3 Days focusing on the portrait painting done from life.
With the intimacy and expression of a portrait it is important to keep the simplicity throughout the painting process.
I will be guiding you through this process and demonstrate what it takes to bring the painting and likeness to the canvas.

We will be talking about methods for starting a Portrait, how to handle details and facial features and finishing touches. Other topics we will be discussing are placement and composition of a portrait as well as handling the space surrounding the portrait.

3 Day Figure Painting Workshop

Join me for an extensive 3 Day Figure Painting Workshop with a live model to work from.

4 Day Plein Air in Munich

Join me for my first extensive 4 Day Plein Air Painting Workshop in and around Munich.

Only 6 Seats are available to ensure quality of teaching.

I will be doing live demonstrations of my Painting process along helping each Student indivudally.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced artists.

I’m able to teach in German/English depending on the individual participant.

Program:

Depending on the Weather we will visit different Spots around my Favourite painting Spots in Munich.

Including Englischer Garten, City Center Area, Isar River

We will work everyday from 10:00 - 17:00 at a predetermined Spot which I will provide.
