Join me for a full Portrait drawing day working from the Model!
We will be learning how to draw Portraits from the live model.
I will be working along side you demonstrating how to start, work through and finish a Portrait.
We will be talking about the basics like proportion, measuring, building structure and likeness of the sitter.
This Course is suitable for beginners and advanced artists.
It is in German/English depending on the individual participant.
Program:
We will be working extensively through a long portrait sitting with a Model (5h).
Topics I will go over depending on the student include:
Simplification, Learning to See, Proportions
Building Up Structure and Value
Shading, Edges, Finishing Touches
Schedule:
Saturday 10:00 - 16:00 with 1h lunchbreak.
Materials:
For Charcoal Pencils I use: “General’s Charcoal Pencils” 6B or “Conté a Paris” B
For the Paper I use “Newsprint” A2
Kneeded Eraser
Board and Clips to clip your drawing onto!
Alternative:
Coloured Pencils like Faber Kastell
Regular Paper, Size A2

Plein Air in Munich
4 Day Plein Air in Munich
Join me for my extensive 4 Day Plein Air Painting Workshop in and around Munich.
Only 8 Seats are available to ensure quality of teaching.
I will be doing live demonstrations of my Painting process along helping each Student indivudally.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced artists.
I’m able to teach in German/English depending on the individual participant.
Program:
Depending on the Weather we will visit different Spots around my Favourite painting Spots in Munich.
Including Englischer Garten, City Center Area, Isar River
Schedule:
We will work everyday from 10:00 - 17:00 at a predetermined Spot which I will provide.
